If you
have purchased our book, use it as a teaching tool for your
children.
There may be words, story lines or scriptures they don’t
understand. Stop and explain it to them, use examples,
perhaps examples in your own life. Use parables as Jesus did
when He was teaching. Relate other scriptures while you read
– it’s a good time to pull out the bible. Use it in your
times of disciplining. Remember what God said for us to do
in Deuteronomy 6:5-9, “You shall love the Lord your God with
all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your
strength. And these words which I command you today shall be
in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your
children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house,
when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you
rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and
they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your
gates.”
You may have purchased this for an older daughter and have a
younger one as well. Don’t think that she will not be able
to understand the lessons in this book. Take the time to
explain it to her you will be planting seeds into her
spirit. I saw this with my youngest daughter.
What you teach your children and how you live your life
speaks volumes to them. They are watching everything you do.
What you do with your children is what they will do with
their children. They become what they behold. Leave a legacy
for your children! We know that we cannot do this in our own
strength, we have to rely on God as our strength. Proverbs
22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he
is old he will not depart from it.”
God Bless All the Parents!
